THE
LAST HURRAH OF THE CLEMENTINES For our third full-scale
touring production, we collaborated with Travis Sehorn of the band pebble
light, who created and performed original songs on the ukulele and guitar.
The play tells the story of Mr. and Mrs. Clementine, a husband and wife team,
she a mathemitican, he an astronomer. The two of them send eggs into outer
space, and plan for the day when they will receive an egg in return. All that
changes one day when a fugitive athlete knocks on their door, and brings them
a bag of fortune cookies. We call this one sci-fi, but that claim has been
refuted.
"An ingenious musical playlet"--

"Bizarrely frolicsome, cogently playful, sweetly surreal...Such is the
genius of The Missoula Oblongata--quirky, but also exquisitely made and elegantly
presented."--
